Welcome to Summer Acsent! My name is Emily VanSteensburg, I am currently a sophomore at PSU and studying criminal justice. I am Also a member of the women’s basketball team. As far as Acsent goes I am a mentor, I was in the program last year. Looking back on the few days before I got to campus, I was very nervous and unwilling to try new things. However once I was all moved in and and my roommate was moved in as well, we found a little group of people to hangout with. Once we hung out a little more I was more comfortable with talking to people and trying new things. I hope Acsent helps you ease into your first semester!
