Here at PSU the two things that help me succeed academically are the Lamson Library and my Desk Attendant job. I know the DA one is weird but hear me out, I spend four to eight hours behind a desk each week. I am aloud to do my classwork during this time. Basically getting paid to do my work in a quiet area with minimal distractions. I have a hard time focusing so my work study is perfect! Also the library, no distractions there plus coffee down in the cafe. It’s my ideal study place and where I spent most of my first semester. The librarians are super nice, I’ve only gone to them once for a library related question but they are also very helpful with general campus questions too! I can also rely on my professors if I ever need help in classes, each one of my professors this year have been understanding and kind though this difficult time. They are all here whenever I need them and so are my advisors! There are multiple resources here at PSU that can help me succeed academically and I haven’t used them all but I most likely will at some point while I’m here at PSU.
